The COOLEST indoor swimming pool ever!

So Liz decided to have a joint bday with Matthew, Ray, and Chak. The plan was to have a pool party. At first I thought, "A pool party in January? WTF?!?!" Then I heard it was an indoor pool and I was like, "Ok, that sounds better but I'm still feeling cold thinking about it!" So we go to the community center in Fremont that has the indoor pool. We go into the lobby and are trying to figure out which way to turn when to our right we see this huge window and beyond that window was the COOLEST indoor swimming pool I have ever seen! There were three different pool areas. One was your traditional rectangular-shaped pool that had a bball hoop and a goal post. The middle pool was a lazy river with two water slides in the middle of the river. The last pool was the kiddie pool. They had a playground structure in it as well as a sizeable pool area for the kids to wade in. AND, the temp in the pools and the room was very warm. I loved it! Entrance fee is pretty decent too. It is definitely worth a repeat visit!

Just had my preconception counseling. Took some tests and got my prenatal vitamins. *breath* *breath* Ok, here I go!

Doing its job too well

We finally got curtains for our bedroom. We got tired of having the sun shine in our eyes when we're trying to sleep in just a bit on the weekends. So we got textured chocolate brown curtains and we also moved our bed to the window. It's not against the wedding so there's actually some space b/w our bed and the window so the curtains can close. Unfortunately the curtains are doing their job so well that we end up oversleeping this whole week!

That last entry didn't work out like I hoped it did.......
