What a weekend.....

Saturday:

Took the bike up to Oakland for the Barack Obama rally. It was about 30 minutes before the speech and Ray and I were just hanging out when a lady approached Ray. She apparently was a rally volunteer and invited us to sit on the grandstand located behind the podium. We jumped at the opportunity and got to sit up close and personal to where Obama was going to speak! We got to shake his hand and listen to his empowering speech.



After the rally we headed over to Marie's for her Murder Mystery dinner. I was assigned the character Bogus Fortunatas and Ray was Harangus Adnauseum. It was a fun and interesting evening. We enjoyed some "lasagna," spinach dip, soup, and ginger cake. And, I was not the killer! Woo-hoo!
