Me: Hey student, good to see you today. Were you sick yesterday?

Student: No, I got new shoes!

Me: Oh, ok!

Me (thinking): School doesn't start 'til 11:20 and you couldn't have bought your damn shoes before school or after?!?! New shoes my ass!
